One of the 5 "blue zones" in the world
Nosara is located on the Nicoya Peninsula, and is one of the 5 places in the world designated as a "blue zone" such as Okinawa (Japan), Icaria (Greece), Sardinia (Italy), Loma Linda (California).
It's pretty easy to find 100-year-olds in good health here. The quality of drinking water, the rich food of the earth, an active life and the importance of personal relationships are some of the main reasons for this.
Nosara is surrounded by 3 beaches
Pelada, Guiones and Ostional.
PLAYA PELADA - Where we are. On this white sand beach you will find the colorful boats of local fishermen. The perfect place to relax, read a book and enjoy the sunset. Just a 4 minute walk from the beach, right across from a "blue area", Nosara Satori is the perfect light pollution spot for stargazing at night.
PLAYA DE GUIONES - Surf spot with the center, restaurants, yoga centers, and so unknown but with everything you need for a special stay full of magic.
PLAYA OSTIONAL - Also known as Playa de las Tortugas, it is one of the most important nesting sites on the planet and an incredible experience to observe: countless turtles arrive once a month, from July to December, to lay their eggs. 45 days after this arrival, the young animals are born and crawl into the water: a unique sight!
